Alumni cell of JKKN Dental College and hospital nurtures a mutually beneficial relationship with the alumni and leverage their expertise and experience for the growth of the institution. Alumni association was officially inaugurated in the name “NAMASKARA” by our chairperson and managing director. The association was officially registered as a registration act of Tamil Nadu in the name of “NAMASKARA” old students’ association in March 2022.
OBJECTIVES:
To promote and nurture close relationships between the institute and alumni. To assist and support students of our institution and facilitate them into practice of dentistry. To in-still various career counselling options and provide guidance to them whenever necessary. To support and help our future alumni to explore career options in foreign countries.
ACTIVITIES:
Our institution has cloud-based alumni engagement software “VAAVE” which contain all our alumni databases. Alumni portal is updated regularly about both academic and extracurricular events taking place in the institution.
Alumni meetings all conducted once in a year around the month of November coinciding with the Founder’s Day celebration. Alumni are also actively updated with the programs and activities through alumni monthly e-newsletter. Alumni fund is maintained under a separate account and is managed by alumni office bearers. The alumni contribute to college through donation of books, journals and equipment to the departments. Alumni association helps in placement of our young graduates in their clinics and guide them for their future clinical practice.
