Job Description: As a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Periodontics, you will play a key role in educating the next generation of dental professionals and advancing the field through research and patient care. Responsibilities: Teach and mentor students in the classroom, clinic, and laboratory settings Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and other educational content related to periodontics Supervise and evaluate students' clinical skills and patient care Conduct research in the field of periodontics and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals Provide patient care in the form of periodontal diagnosis, treatment, and management Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the college to promote the growth and development of the department and college Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as assigned Participate in professional development activities to stay current with advances in the field of periodontics Qualifications: Post graduate degree (M.D.S)in Periodontics or equivalent qualification Certificate or advanced degree in Periodontics from an accredited program Current license to practice dentistry in the state or jurisdiction where the college is located Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and patient care in the field of periodontics Evidence of scholarly activity, such as publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at professional conferences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds Commitment to providing high-quality education, research, and patient care in the field of periodontics.
