Job Description: JKKN Dental College and Hospital is seeking a distinguished Professor to join the Department of Human Anatomy. The ideal candidate will provide strong academic leadership, deliver high-impact teaching using both traditional and AI-empowered pedagogical methods, drive innovative research, and mentor students and junior faculty within an advanced tech-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach human anatomy courses to undergraduate (BDS) and postgraduate (MDS) students using modern lectures, laboratory instruction, and AI-assisted learning tools.
Develop course content and leverage digital 3D modeling, virtual dissection, and interactive technology for clear anatomical instruction.
Lead departmental research initiatives, secure research opportunities, and publish findings in high-impact international journals.
Mentor and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research endeavors, dissertations, and academic development.
Provide leadership, career guidance, and academic mentorship to junior faculty members.
Integrate smart learning analytics to assess and evaluate student performance effectively.
Actively participate in departmental, college-level, and institutional committees and governance initiatives.
Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with advancements in human anatomy and AI-driven educational technology.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree (M.D. / M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy, M.D.S., or equivalent qualification as per DCI/NMC norms).
Minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized dental or medical college.
Strong, documented record of scholarly research published in peer-reviewed international journals.
Demonstrated leadership in conducting research projects and guiding postgraduate thesis work.
Familiarity with or openness to integrating AI tools and digital technologies into medical education.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
