Job Description: The Professor, Department of Bachelor of Dental Surgery will play a key role in achieving the college's mission of enabling a platform for all to seize exponential opportunities, thereby facilitating them to become dynamic leaders. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, as well as conducting research in the field of dental surgery. Responsibilities: Teach and mentor students in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program Develop and implement curricula that align with the college's mission and vision Conduct research in the field of dental surgery, with the goal of advancing the profession and contributing to the body of knowledge Collaborate with other departments and colleges to foster interdisciplinary research and education Mentor and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers Participate in departmental and college-wide meetings and committees Qualifications: A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Bavhelor of dental surgery or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level A strong record of research and publications in the field of dental surgery A proven track record of teaching and mentoring experience Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of dental surgery, such as periodontology, orthodontics, or endodontics Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students A commitment to the mission and vision of JKKN College of Dental and Hospital Eligible fields: Dental anatomy Dental materials Operative dentistry Prosthodontics Orthodontics Periodontology Oral and maxillofacial surgery Oral medicine and radiology Community dentistry Pedodontics and preventive dentistry Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
