Job Description: The Professor, Department of Oral Prosthodontics will be responsible for providing academic and research leadership in the field of oral prosthodontics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the mission of JKKN College of Dental and Hospital by enabling a platform for all to seize exponential opportunities, facilitating them to become dynamic leaders. The professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and hands-on training to students in the field of oral prosthodontics. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lectures and hands-on training to students in the field of oral prosthodontics. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance learning outcomes. Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of oral prosthodontics, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at international conferences. Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Mentor and support junior faculty, residents, and students in their academic and research pursuits. Qualifications: A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Prosthodontics or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Demonstrated leadership in teaching and research, with a proven track record of excellence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders. Eligible fields: Complete dentures Implant-supported prosthodontics Maxillofacial prosthetics Removable partial dentures Fixed partial dentures Dental materials Occlusion and bite analysis Oral rehabilitation Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
