Job Description: The Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Health Dentistry will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of public health dentistry. They will also be responsible for conducting research and providing community services related to public health dentistry. Responsibilities: Delivering lectures and conducting practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in public health dentistry Developing course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments Providing academic guidance and supervision to students in their research projects and clinical practice Engaging in research activities related to public health dentistry and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals Participating in community outreach programs to promote oral health and prevent dental diseases Collaborating with other faculty members in the department and other departments within the institution to develop and implement academic programs related to public health dentistry Participating in faculty meetings, committees, and other activities related to the academic affairs of the institution Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in public health dentistry by attending conferences, seminars, and workshops Qualifications: A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Public Health Dentistry or equivalent from a recognized institution Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in public health dentistry at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level Experience in conducting research in public health dentistry and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members and staff in the department and institution Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and professional growth Eligible Fields: Epidemiology Health promotion and education Health services management Biostatistics Community health Dental hygiene Preventive dentistry Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
