Job Description: The Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Pharmacology. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research activities of the department, engage in community service, and work collaboratively with colleagues to promote academic excellence and student success. Responsibilities: Designing and delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical classes in Pharmacology for undergraduate and postgraduate students Supervising and mentoring research students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level Developing and delivering innovative teaching materials and methods to enhance student learning and engagement Contributing to the research activities of the department and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals Engaging in community service and outreach activities to promote the visibility and reputation of the department and the institution Participating in departmental and institutional committees and contributing to academic and administrative activities as required Collaborating with colleagues in the department and the institution to promote academic excellence and student success Qualifications: post graduate degree(M.D.S)in Pharamacology or equivalent qualification Have 5 years teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level Published research work in national and international journals Demonstrated expertise in a particular area of Pharmacology Evidence of successful supervision of research students and laboratory staff Good communication and interpersonal skills Active involvement in academic and professional organizations related to Pharmacology Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the field of Pharmacology Eligible Fields: Pharmacology Pharmacy Biochemistry Biomedical Science Physiology Medicine Toxicology Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
