Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Reader in the Department of Periodontics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting teaching, research and administrative activities in the department. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver lectures, practical sessions and assessments in the field of periodontics and implantology to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Supervise postgraduate research projects and dissertations. Conduct original research in the field of periodontics and implantology, with a focus on publishing in high-quality academic journals and presenting at relevant conferences. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and activities, including contributing to the development and review of curricula and course materials. Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance expertise in the field. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students in the department’s clinics, as appropriate. Assist with administrative duties as required by the department. Qualifications: MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) degree in periodontics or equivalent in the field of periodontics. A minimum 4 experience as a practicing periodontist, including experience in teaching and research. A track record of publications in high-quality academic journals and presentations at relevant conferences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
