The Department of Periodontics at JKKN Dental College & Hospital epitomises innovation and comprehensive patient care. As part of our innovative MDS program, our department is a hub for specialised dental treatment, focusing on the support structures of teeth and the conditions affecting them.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES:

State-of-the-art Clinic: Our clinic features 43 dental chairs and dedicated sections for undergraduates and postgraduates. Each area is designed to offer a serene ambiance, enhancing both patient care and learning experience.
Cutting-edge Equipment: Select dental chairs are equipped with advanced tools such as lasers, physio-dispensers, electrocautery, and piezo-surgical units, enabling us to provide precise and modern treatments.
Specialized Care Spaces: The department hosts separate spaces for seminars, library access, staff rooms, and sterilisation to foster an environment of learning and collaboration.

SPECIALITY FOCUS:

Periodontics encompasses the regeneration of lost periodontal and peri-implant tissues and fixed replacements for missing teeth. Our range of treatments includes:

Non-surgical Treatments: Scaling, root planing.
Surgical Treatments: Bone and gum grafting, regenerative procedures, dental crown lengthening, dental implants, pocket reduction procedures.
