About the Specialty:

It is the speciality which provides replacement of missing teeth and associated maxillofacial structures, management of TMJ dysfunction and occlusion disorders  by complete dentures, partial dentures (Fixed or removable),

implants, maxillofacial prosthesis, splints and devices. It is also specialised in digital workflow for the diagnosis and treatment planning of prosthodontic patients. The state of art technology in treatment modalities, teaching methodologies and research was followed for satisfying the prosthetic needs of the patients and aspiring students who learn prosthetic dentistry

The objectives of treatment modalities is correcting the existing  condition,prevention of future condition,restoring function and improving appearance.Treatment modalities followed in PROSTHODONTICS(Undergraduate Section) are Removable Partial Denture,Complete Denture and Fixed Partial Denture.
