CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY AND ENDODONTICS

Conservative dentistry and Endodontics are two closely related fields in
dentistry that deal with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental
caries (tooth decay) and other dental problems.
Conservative dentistry focuses on the preservation and restoration of the
natural teeth using various techniques and materials such as fillings, inlays,
onlays, and crowns. The goal of conservative dentistry is to repair and
strengthen the damaged tooth structure while preserving as much of the
natural tooth as possible.
Endodontics, on the other hand, is a branch of dentistry that deals with the
diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and injuries of the dental
pulp (the innermost part of the tooth that contains nerves and blood vessels).
Endodontic treatments include root canal therapy, which involves removing
the infected or damaged pulp and filling the root canal with a biocompatible
material. The department's objective is to save and restore the natural teeth
as much as possible using minimally invasive techniques while ensuring
maximum patient comfort and satisfaction

ABOUT THE SPECIALITY

Conservative dentistry and Endodontics specialists work together to provide
comprehensive dental care to patients. The goal is to save and restore natural teeth
