BDS

BDS stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The Department of BDS is a department within a college or university that offers a bachelor’s degree program in dental surgery. This degree program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become licensed dental surgeons, also known as dentists. The curriculum typically includes coursework in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and dental materials, as well as clinical training in various aspects of dental care, such as preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the dental licensing exam and begin practicing as dentists.
